Plockton and the surrounding areas

Plockton is an ideal position to experience some of the most exciting and memorable cruising grounds in the world.

Heading straight out takes you into the waters of the Isle of Skye, of which a circumnavigation would be easily possible in a week, with the Outer Hebrides just a short reach out when the weather  is appropriate.

Heading South allows you to take in the Small Isles and onwards to Coll, Tiree and the island of Mull. The cruising limits of the charter give endless destinations to choose from and will satisfy both first time visitors to the area and regular cruisers of this part of the world. Encompassing the East coast of Harris and Uist down to the South end of Mull with the miles of coastline in-between allows a limitless number of itineraries to suit all weather conditions.
